Getting here:

We are located directly behind Angel station.
Unfortunately, Angel does not have a lift, only escalators. The nearest tube station with a lift service is Essex Road Station.

Angel’s nearest bus stops are Y, D & H.

The route to the venue has 4 crossings with dropped kerbs.

There is no on-site parking near the venue.
Parking maybe available after 6:30, please call in advance so we can check this for you.

Access to the venue:

Walking towards the venue you will come across a cobblestone road. There are flat surfaced paths either side which are wide enough for wheelchair users.

Depending on the event you attend, there will be 1 out of 3 doors that will be used that are all fully accessible. There are no steps into the building.

All doors can be open fully wide. None of our doors are power assisted, if you require assistance please ask a member of staff.

Majority of our events are on throughout the whole building. The only fully accessible area is the ground floor. We have an accessible ordering point at the bar in The Courtyard, this is labelled ‘Accessible bar service’.

Toilets:

We have many toilets throughout the building. Our accessible toilet can be found on the ground floor next to the Live Room.

This can be accessed using a radar key. If you need a radar key, please speak to a member of staff.

Lights & Sound:

Depending on the event you attend, there may be strong strobe lighting used through the dance rooms. These rooms are low lit along with a haze machine which may impair your visibility.

The machine is usually placed near the DJ booth. The Courtyard does not have a heavy lighting system and the haze machine is rarely used in this room.

At our club nights and live gigs the music can be fairly loud playing though our PA systems. If you would like to be directed to a more quiet space or require ear plugs, please head to the Courtyard bar and ask a member of staff.
